Gerrit has distinguished himself as a tactician and strategic manager over the span of his career in various sectors, serving on several executive and senior management teams, and amongst others managing his own consulting and tiling businesses for several years. It is his ability to think on the tactical and planning level, and his absolute no-compromise approach to customer service and satisfaction that enables Gerrit to add value under the Smarten Renovate banner. Gerrit recognizes and comprehends the importance of sound project management principles in renovation projects. Among other qualifications, Gerrit holds a Master’s Degree in Human Sciences and is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) practitioner with the Project Management Institute in the United States.
Chief Quality Officer
Johan brings extensive technical and practical renovation experience to the Smarten Renovate stable. Like Gerrit, his qualifications and experience have an international flavour, with amongst others 6 years’ experience in renovation projects in London, the United Kingdom, managing his own renovation business there and upholding the high standards that the British are well-known for. His work in both the private and public sectors is well documented in both the UK and South Africa. Johan is a qualified CAD draughtsman, and has worked on numerous design and execution projects in various sectors in both countries. Customer service and satisfaction is a driving force when it comes to projects Johan is involved in, giving the client total peace of mind. Johan and his team keep a tight lease on the exceptional standards that Smarten Renovate has become well-known for by enforcing these standards on all associates and during every project.
